Stuffed Saturday

 IMG_7268

Saturday was busy! Here’s a glimpse of what my schedule looked like:

7:30am- Team in Training group run

10:15- Yoga with Ryan

12- Lunch with the girls

5- Work

Since I did the first three things without going back home, I packed everything in my car! I brought along necessities to clean up post-run and before yoga and lunch. My new Lululemon tote came in handy for carrying everything :)

IMG_7266 Post-yoga Ryan and I headed over to our favorite, Infusion Tea, to meet Lindsey, Megan and Katy. I had been waiting for lunch with these girls all week!

IMG_7275

Call me a sheltered food blogger, but I had to have my original! 1/2 Milton Salad and 1/2 Tempeh Chili. Heaven. IMG_7277

Just check out all the great things in that salad.. beets, hummus, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries and MORE! How could you miss out on that!?

My combo meal came with their tea of the day… Moroccan Mint!

IMG_7273

Delicious food with a great group of girls in an awesome atmosphere.. I was quite happy :)

IMG_7283

After lunch I was having a serious cookie craving. Luckily fabulous vegan baker Lindsey brought us treats! They were healthy oatmeal chocolate-chip mini-cookies :) I am happy to say I finished my whole bag first! Thanks, Lindsey!

IMG_7288IMG_7284I feel so blessed to have so many great blogger friends in the area. Without blogging I might have never met these ladies… I am so grateful!

IMG_7291

I came home to find this on our front door. How romantic <3 With me working the part-time job at night and David going to school or his 9-to-5 job during the week, I feel like we never see each other! Thank God that’s changing because…

Tomorrow (Monday) is my first day at my new job! My nerves are going crazy!

Have you met any blogger friends in person? Who would you most like to meet?

Good luck on your very first day of work!

I haven't met any food bloggers yet, but I'm hoping to meet some in Minneapolis over the holidays and in Orlando when I'm there for the Disney Princess Half Marathon!

  2. Marissa on November 8, 2009 6:01 PM

Good luck! I know you'll rock it! :)

I've never met anyone from the blogger world, but I wish I knew some of these intense runners! I usually run solo but on my longer runs I'd love someone to motivate me and kick me in the butt to push harder.

  4. greensandjeans on November 8, 2009 6:10 PM

I actually just got back from my first blogger meet up! Averie from love, veggies, and yoga and I just realized that we only live 10 minutes from each other! Crazy!

  5. Taylor on November 8, 2009 6:13 PM

What a crazy busy day! I regularly meet up with a few Chicago bloggers. I wish I could meet some of you FL bloggers though!

  7. healthydiana on November 8, 2009 6:25 PM

I've met several people "from the internet", from other websites I use/used but I've never met a food blogger. That's what I get for being in Portugal, I guess.

That note was so sweet, aw. Good luck on your new job! :)

  12. inmytummy on November 8, 2009 8:11 PM

I am totally the same way when it comes to food in a restaurant. If I get something that I like, I stick with it! Call it unadventurous, but I always enjoy my meal.

    Good luck tomorrow!!

Awwww :) I love it when Jason leaves me little messages! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, hehe. I'm thankful for my blog too, it's caused me to meet Whit and Kath and hopefully I'll meet more bloggie friends at FitBloggin! You going??

Good luck at your job tomorrow!!

I just met a bunch of bloggers at the Foodbuzz festival. It was really fun. I wish I knew some who lived near me.

Good luck with the first day of work!

  16. kceatingontherun on November 8, 2009 9:55 PM

Good luck at work! You'll ROCK it! Sounds like a fun packed Saturday perfect.

I would love to meet Fitnessita, The Pioneer Woman, Chic Runner, Caution: Redhead Running and DIscombobulated Runner. They all look like fun people to be around.

The Orlando bloggers though look like a great crowd totally bummed I don't live closer to join in.

  17. Anne on November 8, 2009 10:36 PM

What a jam-packed weekend. I love weekends when they're full, but sometimes it can be too full for me.

I have met Caitlin via Skype :)

  19. Whitney@whitsgettingfit on November 9, 2009 9:23 AM

I met a lot of bloggers in Boston, and I have met my friend Stacey through blogging. I love meeting other bloggers because I have so much in common with them!

And who I'd want to meet? Why you, Linds, Ryan and Katy, because I already met Megan. ;) You girls all seem so fun and we are all around the same age.

  20. abbsveganeats on November 9, 2009 9:56 AM

  23. biz319 on November 9, 2009 4:02 PM

    HOPE TODAY WAS GREAT!

I've met a few in person - but its kind of weird, because I am almost 42 and the generational thing was a bit weird, since most of the girls I met were in their early to mid-20s!

But food is a universal language! :D
